Call Accounting by RSI Rated “Avaya Compliant” for Avaya Quick Edition

OSHAWA, Ontario — Resource Software International Ltd. (RSI), a leading developer of call accounting software for every enterprise, today announced its small- to medium business browser-based call accounting software, Revolution Web Call Accounting, is now compliant with Avaya Quick Edition solutions from Avaya, a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services.

Avaya Quick Edition is a simple yet sophisticated phone system for small businesses or small branch offices of enterprises. Revolution Web Call Accounting, a product which helps businesses track, analyze and manage both analog and IP communications, was successfully compliance-tested by Avaya for interoperability with Quick Edition 3.2:

“Resource Software International Ltd. (RSI) is delighted to announce the interoperability of our popular Revolution Web Call Accounting software with Avaya Quick Edition,” said Rito Salomone, president of RSI. “This demonstrates our commitment to provide small and medium business customers the same powerful capabilities available to enterprises. Revolution Web Call Accounting can be used to curb misuse and abuse, maximize efficiency and productivity, track and analyze networks, and forecast, monitor and allocate expenses.”

RSI is a member of the Avaya DevConnect program—an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network.

As a Gold member of the program, RSI is eligible to submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab in Lincroft, N.J. There a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compliant. Doing so ensures businesses can confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure—speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.

“By participating in Avaya’s compliance testing program and committing to open standards, development partners like RSI are helping businesses get more out of their network investment,” said Eric Rossman, vice president, developer relations and technical alliances, Avaya. “Our customers are able to easily communications-enable critical business processes, change the way they work and uncover new value that can help them build their bottom line.”
